Before you get started

Before completing this application form, please read the <Collie Small Grants Guidelines> to make sure your organisation and initiative are eligible and you meet the grant criteria.

Please allow sufficient time to complete the application and save your information regularly. Remember that information you include in the application form will be required for your acquittal, so please take the time to ensure you understand each section. Incomplete applications and/or applications received after the closing date will not be considered.

Eligible organisations: 

  • registered charity (ACNC) that is not an unincorporated association; or
  • not-for-profit incorporated entity (e.g. incorporated associations and companies); or
  • social enterprise (with Social Trader Certification) that is not an unincorporated association

Ineligible organisations and activities 

The Collie Small Grants is unable to support the following organisations and activities: 

Organisations: 

  • Unincorporated associations 
  • Federal, state, or local governments 
  • Individuals or families 
  • Political parties or unions 
  • Commercial/for-profit businesses - social enterprises may apply

 Activities:

  • Initiatives that take place outside of the Collie area
  • Initiatives that have already been delivered 
  • Political or religious activities or pursuits 
  • Organisation’s maintenance and/or operational costs  
  • Organisations or initiatives that discriminate based on origin, age, race, religion, gender, ability or diversity 
  • Organisations or initiatives that are environmentally harmful or do not undertake sustainable practices 
  • Organisations or initiatives that promote gambling or alcohol-related sponsorships 
  • Activities which provide a financial benefit to Synergy employees or contractors 
  • Organisations or initiatives that expose Synergy to known reputational, financial or safety risks 

Confirmation of eligibility

I confirm that the applicant:

  • has read and understands the <Collie Small Grants Guidelines> (Guidelines)
  • initiative is located in the Collie postcode 6225 and/or supplies services in the Collie postcode area
  • is a registered charity with ACNC, or a not-for profit incorporated entity, or a social enterprise with Social Traders certification
  • is able to demonstrate financial viability 
  • does not owe any acquittal report to Synergy as a result of previous funding or grants
  • has an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • has the appropriate type and level of insurance for the activities that are the subject of this grant
  • holds an account with an Australian financial institution in the organisation’s name, not an individual’s name
  • will send a representative to attend the grant award ceremony on the evening of Wednesday 22 April 2026
  • commits to acknowledge Synergy's grant publicly
